TopcaT is one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s premiere party bands. Featuring dynamic singers and first call musicians, TopcaT delivers with sensitivity, taste and pizzazz. The song list spans seven decades of the best in popular music. Big band and swing, latin and funk, soul, rock and roll, disco, and Motown are all covered. The most requested artists include Gershwin, Porter, Santana, The Beatles, Van Morrison, Stevie Wonder, and Aretha Franklin.
TopcaT features male and female vocalist backed by saxophone, keyboards, guitar, bass and drums. This lineup combines the impact of a larger show band with the finesse of a more intimate group appropriate for swing dancing, background or cocktail music. When the guests are ready, TopcaT kicks into high-energy dance music.
TopcaT is a versatile band of seasoned professionals whose combined resumes include many of the leading names in contemporary music. But most importantly, TopcaT performs with great joy and enthusiasm. Their love of music is evident and audiences respond in kind.
